Theses! (but actually just one)

Although the atom bomb in WWII has had lasting negative consequences, the bomb saved more lives than it took because the alternative to ending the war was a massive invasion.

I'm not sure what this is, but for some reason a thesis search under creative commons finds it relative... so here you go!!

  1. Naturally! Whenever someone says "thesis" the first thing that comes to my mind is a blue-goo monster rocking out to his iPod! Haha I think it's hilarious that Creative Commons brought that picture up!

    1. Haha yeah I've learned that if you want a picture of something it won't be on Creative Commons.

  2. Although it is terrible what happened to the victims of the atom bomb droppings, as you stated, without that sacrifice many more would have died and the war would continue. When the cost of a single decision can take away the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, you must realize the “why” and “for what purpose” or in other words- the greater good. Also, the atom bomb would eventually be used; it was only a matter of time that someone would use it- thank God it wasn’t used on us later in that war or following wars.

    1. All completely valid points I agree with Owen! It's very true the bomb would have been used at some point in the future, who knows when and for what purpose.

  4. Even though I am not one to encourage war, sometimes I guess it is necessary to avoid bigger conflict down the road.
